In order to promote cultural exchange and classical Chinese music in A ustralia, the BLIA in Sydney invited the TCOCO to Australia for a concert in the spring of 1998.

In August of 1998, the TCOCO were invited to Japan by the BLIA of Osaka to perform at a Japan and China friendship event.

After the visit in 1998, the TCOCO went ba ck to Australia in 1999 for another concert. This time groups from all over Australia and New Zealand also joined them.

In October of 2000, the TCOCO, the TCO and Taipei City Choir all went to Edmonton, Canada for a special performance. In April of the same year, they had already performed the same show as part of the Taipei Traditional Arts Festival.

Since 2003, the annual Seoul Culture Festival ha s been an important tourist festival in Korea. In 2008, they had a four seasons theme. This year the TCOCO were invited by the government of Seoul to perform a show that would show the best of Taiwan culture.
