The government has confronted the importance of conservation, so the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau called for the local residents to construct Neopu Mudstone Area Soil and Water Conservation Park and guided them into diversification employment to train local guides and connect the local feature and gourmet to raise the popularity and increase numbers of visitiors. |
Rural Rejuvenation
Tainan City has a vast territory and its different areas were different from the landscapes, which have formed unique scenery and special cultural characteristics. Recently, the traditional villages would be took part in the project of rural rejuvenation to present the entirelty distinct way from before.
The members who have promoted the project expect to put rural rejuvenation, conservation, the aesthetics of urban landscape, and sustainable protection into practice with everyone’s hardworking to realize the dream of being a modern village.

With the construction of Neopu Mudstone Area, it has became an important site for children outdoor activities to learn about the bad-land in Neopu mudstone and soil and water conservation, which is beneficial for the development of Longxing Community and promopting the local residents to join passionately the training of guiding and learn actively the management and maintenance in this area. It’s hoped that the community would become a cohesive team to achieve the objective of rural rejuvenation.
With the assistence of our government, Longxing community is trying to lead its own way.The local residents of Longxing community are very cooperative because they believed that the community construction needs a team to manage together. Furthemore, the excellent local residents who understand and love this land have been willing to dedicate themselves with all efforts to make Longxing community have a new feature in a brand new image.

The local tour makes people feel amiable and friendly, which using songs singing to interpretate their own stories. The docent can read many Taiwanese poems along the way, so you can listen to the local music, understand the history, feel their happiness and pride of their community and you may be touched by their team spirit.The local residents had spent ten years building theNeopu Mudstone Area Soil and Water Conservation Park. However, it’s not easy to maintain the area because the soil there is easy to be flown away once there is rain and the past efforts of building would be destoryed right away.
