I found that they do not use Ba-Ji-Quan to fight with someone after having practiced it so long because the consequence would be severe if they actually fight. That is really not the case as in kung-fu movies where the characters fight constantly with their martial arts and in the end revenge each other.
I am impressed to see them practicing with hundreds of drills each time without complaining about the hardship; I am also convinced that it really works to exercise the mind and increase the ability to overcome the pressure.
In the drilling floor, everyone looks cheerful and friendly to me, and the outstanding ones who have won many competitions are humble too.
I find them nice because they are patient to listen to my questions and answer to them carefully. Chuin-kai particularly amazes me, as he can actually practice Ba-Ji-Quan despite suffering from cerebral palsy and being unable to control his limb motion, and it cures. I did not know Ba-Ji-Quan helps the body and mind this much; now I began to like it.
