Q: Why do you want to shoot cats?
A: Cats have wonderful figures and subtlety.  Their body movements are softer than most pets, and they have those fascinating eyes.  I know cats better and the outcomes of my photos are more satisfying.

Q: How long have you been shooting the cats?
A: I have been shooting cats for almost 5 years.Q: How did you find the strayed cats?
A: I know cats well, and I can just feel them most of the time.  They like to hang around underneath the cars, on the hood, on the low walls, on the cushions of scooters, and some places like markets, but they don’t like dirty and messy places.
Q: How did you feel when you first found the strayed cats?
A: I thought they were adorable and pitiful when I first found them.Q: Where is your favorite spot to shoot cats?
A: Houdong.  The people there are very nice, friendly and passionate.  Every time I go there, I feel like at home.  There are many sightseeing spots, too. Q: What impressed you most in the process of searching the strayed cats?
A: Well, the strayed cats get along well with the elderly.  The relationship between them is quite subtle.

Q: Is there memory that touches you most?
A: At first, the residents in Houdong hated cats, but they changed their mind after the volunteers’ hard work.  They started to care about the cats and befriend with them.  For example, there’s one guy who hated cats very much.  After identifying with the volunteers, he assists them now, and accepts cats in his life.  Originally there’s a huge gap between us, but now we share the same topic because of cats. Q: How can you tell if your cat is happy, angry or sad?
A; In fact, you can see from its voice, expression and action.  Cats can be compared to girls.  They need to be taken good care of emotionally.  Dogs are much like boys.  They are happy as long as they are fed.  Ha, ha…  Cats need to be observed, and they like the sense of distance.  If you violate its territory, it will feel oppressed, uncomfortable and therefore want to escape from you.  People used to say that cats are cold and ruthless, but it’s not the truth.  It just longs for freedom.
Q: What’s the first idea when you find a place full of cats like Houdong?
A: First idea?  I don’t want to share with other people, haha!
Q: Is there a thing impresses you most concerning your five cats at home?
A: Oh, one of my cats Migo it can open the door and drawer, which impresses me most.Q: If you find a cat lying on the hood, what will you do?
A: I will take a couple of pictures first, and then play with it.  I always find the tiny footprints left behind really cute.
