The Most Important Push-hands — Principal Lin Feng Yih
Gave the strongest encouragement and support.
Before we made decision to attend the School Cyberfair, we once worried about if we were able to finish the whole interview process within the deadline. The encouragement and support from Principle Lin became the major power making interview team forging ahead.
Ren-He Elementary School was the only one elementary school in Er-Kong area. Many people and matter in community had been interdependent with the school with inseparable relationship and historic story. Because of such sense of mission, principal encouraged us to introduce the community to public.
Through the power of School Cyberfair, we expected Ren He Elementary School acted not only a place for education but also a push-hand to integrate humanities and spirit of Er-Kong area.
The Tree House Tour Guide — Aunt Tan
Enthusiastically helped on interview team.
During the interview period, excepted Uncle Huang, Aunt Tan showed up all the time whenever interview team arrived at Tree House.
Aunt Tan who lived next to Tree House, could be deemed as another important protector for the House. She was an old friend of Uncle Huang and also supported the establishment of the Tree House. As long as she was available, she helped on cleaning the Tree House environment and also shared responsibility of sundry duties for Uncle Huang.
Every time when interview team got to the Tree House, we could hear Aunt Tan’s warm shouting “here you were again, ha ha!” Thought the introduction of Aunt Tan, we learned more of the detail of the Er-Kong Tree House.
Sometimes when Uncle Huang was not able to see us due to working time overlapping, Aunt Tan helped us to make the interviews smooth.
Also through many different views and interpretations that inspired by her talking, we had in-depth understanding to the spirit and characteristic of Er-Kong Tree House.
A Little Guide of the Tree House — Tan Jia Rong
Grew up with the Tree House.
Talking about who understood the Tree House the most in the young generation, the little girl Tan Chia Rong was certainly the only candidate. Since her childhood, Chia Rong had been taking care of the Tree House with her mother. She lived in Tree House, knew about each corner of the Tree House very well.
In our interview process, Chia Rong joined us all the time. Exploring everything in the Tree House, and listening the stories told by Uncle Huang together with us, she was happy to act as a little guide of the Tree House. She brought us to go through around the Tree House.
Often, Chia Rong would convey her feelings of Er-Kong Tree House by children’s expression. Where to find funny thing in the House, something we hadn’t paid attention to at the first time, her recommendation always gave us pleasant surprise, such as the creative water tab we mentioned previously. It was Chia Rong’s personal preference spot.
