Of course, we were so glad to see the positive response from Miss Juila Ross. But we really wanted to know the opinions of Taipei citizens about the garbage treatment in Taipei. In order to understand the reflection of the citizens, we designed the questionnaires. We took the questionnaires to interview the people on the street. The total number of the questionnaires we had done was 200 pieces.

Our Discoveries:

1. There were more than 50% citizens who felt happy as us when they heard Miss Juila Ross confirmed the way of delivering garbage in Taipei.

2. There were more than 50% citizens who thought waiting for the garbage truck was a special feature in Taipei.

3. There were more than 80% citizens who thought the policy of “A Charge of Trash Bags” and “To Recycle Kitchen Waste” was successful and made the quantity of garbage less.

4. There were 80% citizens who did not think it was inconvenient to deliver the garbage at the certain time and place. And most of them did not know the place in the daytime for to collect garbage and recycle resources and kitchen waste. They did not know the collecting place in the daytime because they would throw the garbage in the evening or at night.

5. There were more than 50% citizens who thought the way of delivering garbage in Taipei would have the social functions among the neighbors, and they thought Taipei was a clean city.
