Green
Map in the Futur
A Green Map documents green resources in a
region. Making and promoting a Green Map also encourages people to take part in
any sustainabilty activity. The first Green Map in the world was created in 1992 and presented in a meeting of United Nations held
by Ms. Wendy Brawer in New York City.
Since then thousands of Green Maps around the globe have been charted following
the methods of the first Green Map, which featured green resources.
A Green Map represents us. Its spirit is to
share instead of having an exact map scale.
We document anything about environment
protection on a map and share it with more people. A Green Map is a living map.
Everyone can update it with more environment-friendly facilities or events
continually to enrich it and to urge more involvement. We can see from a Green
Map many touching stories and another possibilty to improve our environment. We
look forward to engaging more people in this project and to creating a new
prospect together for the future.
