The first step to make a picturebook is to “make up.”  It is also the so-called Layout.  It looks like the Film Story Board telling the plots of the story and lays sections separately on the Layout.  In the meanwhile we should think over how to express every section with the pictures to express, and the connection of the pictures, how to turn in the course of an event and how to make the crescendo and the rhythems etc.  The success or failure of a picturebook is decided at the moment of the making in Layout.
