Teaching goal

1. Holding comprehensive activities of water source to let students be aware of the environmental issue of water source.

2. Expressing the emotion to the home town on the visual pamphlets through the literary field’s activities.

Teaching steps  

First, preparing activities: (30 minutes)

1. Teaching environmental “water resource” topic and holding activities with the PowerPoint.

Guiding the content:

(1) Relation of the past topographical ground form and the water resource of Rui-feng

(2) The development on the tea garden after 921 earthquake and its impact on the water resource.

(3) The influence after the typhoon and torrential rain on the water resource.

 

2. Using the self-made electric book and studying camp to guide the reading of environmental picture books.

Second, developing the activity: (40 minutes)

1. Teaching to make the pamphlets 

(1) Guiding and creating the story.

(2) The choosing of material and managing of those elements

(3) Presenting the content of the pamphlets.

 

2. Demonstrating the outstanding pamphlets.

 

Third, developing the activity: (10 minutes)

1. Dividing groups to discuss the environmental subject about the pamphlets.

2. Cooperate with other literature or art courses to make the pamphlets.
