Love in the Church
When John lives in seclusion at home, the former drummer of a church has passed over. The pastor’s wife knows that John can play drums very well, so she came to John’s house to discuss with John’s father if John can go to the church to play drums. At first, John’s mother didn’t agree with this because of John’s unhealthy body. But John told his mother: “Isn’t there a sentence in the Holy Bible:’The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.’ John’s mother understands John’s meaning, so she agreed John to go to the church to play drums. The praise fellowship performs on Sundays, and they have to rehearsal on Friday. The chorus sings to a drums, keyboard and piano accompaniment. John thinks this is more interesting than he playing the drums along.
After enrolling in the praise fellowship, John’s world has been wider than before. His world isn’t only his small room anymore. Now, he has walked out of the depths of unhappiness, and contacted with more people. He is also getting more and happier. Not after a long time, John went to perform in Penghu with the praise fellowship. That was a good trip. He enjoyed the sun under the clear sky. He feels that, he has walked out of the depths of death.
He praises god in his heart: “Thank you, the loving god, you listened to my pray. You gave me a lighten way. You not only increased my life area, but also improved my relationship between my parents and I. I thank you deeply.”
John serves as a drummer in church
