Q1：What kind of information do we need before creating a webpage?
A1：When creating webpage, the first thing we need to do is to gather information. Secondly, we need to prepare a lot of photographs and videos thorough the assistance of digital cameras and DV. By the time that we have all the above mentioned materials, we can then start making a website.

Q2：What are the important things to notice before making a webpage?
A2：There are a lot of details to be noticed. Among all, the first thing we need is a personal computer with resolution of 800*600. Then we need to learn software such as FrontPage. It is a must learn for anyone who wants to create a website. We will then need PhotoShop to edit the images. We may also need to learn media player and Flash. They help us in terms of making some animations, as animations help us enrich our website. These software are not difficult to manipulate, the planning of making, however, is the real challenging part.

By the way, you will be able to find lots of information from the internet. So the important thing, then, will be your attitude of using them. You have to be careful when using the resources found in the internet. Make sure you cite your reference. Otherwise, you may be sued for violating the Intellectual Property Law.

Beautiful pictures can be found on the internet, all you need to do is search for them. Most of the pictures and animations have copyrights; however, if it is specified for “sharing” then you can use them. You need to be careful using the resources found in the internet or you may be sued.

Moreover, JAVA is used by most engineers in Silicon Valley. JAVA is the most commonly used language in the internet. If you can learn to use JAVA now, you will be real genius.

By using the information and program found on the internet, and a little touch up you should have little problem. However you shouldn’t just “cut and paste” other people’s work, but you should have your own thoughts in it.
 

Q3：What kind of difficulty will you come across in doing webpage?
A3：Technical problems are most difficult, sometimes it is because we can’t use the program well enough, other times the program itself has some problems. Microsoft can help us a lot, but it too has a lot of problems, we call them “bugs.” So, we should be very careful when writing a webpage, as we need to link one to another. We also need patience, since a formal webpage may contain up to thousands of pages. I suggest you make a tree diagram of the structure first before you go on making a website. This really helps.

It is really a big task for you to create a complete website for your age, so you should try look at more websites and imitate. Thus language ability is really important, with sufficient knowledge of different languages; you can look up how other people in different countries create their website.

There are all different kinds of intention in creating a website. It all depends on their purpose. Whatever the purpose might be, it is useful to get to know more about the internet, since it is the trend of the future.
 

Q4：How do we upload our website?
A4：You need a server to upload your website. There should be a computer center in our school. If you go and have a look, you will find that there is a terminal computer in the center. When uploading your website, you need to apply for an IP (your address), and a server (where your web stays) If you have a server and an IP, then other people will be able to look at your website.

Q5：How do we insert music into the webpage?
A5：Most background music is in the form of midi or mp3. You can insert them into
your webpage by using FrontPage.
 

Q6：How do we make a webpage link to another webpage?
A6：First, you need to have a webpage and an icon, then you need to have another webpage with the name of the icon on the first page. Then you need to link the first webpage to the second one by inserting “link”.

Q7：What are the .org or .com that we find at the back of the address?
A7：.org means government organization, .com means company and .idv means I individual..tw means Taiwan, .jp means japan, .cn means china. If you find nothing at the end then that will be America, since they invented the internet, so they have nothing at the end.
