Q1: There are many different kinds of landforms here in Wu-Wei-Gan. Would you please briefly introduce them to us?
A1: Here in Wu-Wei-Gan, you can see sand, forest land, grassland, riverside, lake as well as the wetland. Due to the effect of abrasion, the costal sand land is decreasing. Yet in the other way, as the result of the seasonal wind and the typhoon, the estuarine sand land is increasing.

Q2:We saw different kinds of plant on our way here! Would you please introduce them to us?
A2 :You guys are certainly careful observers! It is true that we have many different kinds of plants here. They are generally divided into six big categories as the follows: the secondary forest, the wind-break forest, the grass fresh, the grassy marsh, the farming land, and the sand dune.

Q3: I didn’t see any birds on the way here though. What are the birds in Wu-Wei-Gan?
A3:Situated by the port, we often see many water birds here. Due to the reason that Wu-Wei-Gan is near  mountain areas, we can also see some birds that live places of lower altitude.

Q4:Did people here all live in flagstone houses which we just visited?
A4:The inhabitants here in Wu-Wei-Gan make wide use of the black flagstone  in constructing houses. As we can see from our visit, the drainage, the fence, the sidewalk and almost everything are made of black flagstone, for it is an easily obtained material from the seashore. Besides this reason, residents here use them as constructing material because they are hard and firm. Compared them with grass-made huts, they could reduce the damage caused by natural disasters and the enemies. Flagstones are long lasting. Here in the village, we can still see flagstone houses that were built a hundred year ago.

Q5:We heard that there is "the flying fish season" here. Would you please give us more details?
A5:The seacoast is the northeast Taiwan is a very important fishing ground, where the black stream attracts rich fish group. As a result, most of the inhabitants here make a living by fishing. Back in the time, fishermen in Wu-Wei-Gan catch a large quantity of flying fish simply with the assistance of their small fishing boats. Now, as the fishing industry developed and the fishing equipment improved fishermen no longer catch fish in the traditional way as they did in their small fishing boats before
