Looking For Happy Angels
In order to further understand
the foundation of Happy Kids Weekend (HKW), and the influence of the interaction
between this activity and our community. We first decided to visit
pastor Wang at the Taipei East Christian Church (TECC). The main reason is
because the HKW, the free activity for the children in our
community, is created by TECC. At the same time, we visited with all the volunteers
including the parents to figure out why they devoted their lives to it over
the last six years. We also wanted to know where the funds and resources for this
activity came from. We also wanted to understand how they dealt with troubles,
handle the tough problems, and their general feelings for this activity.

Interview

There are three sections
of interviews. The first, done in May, 2004, is the interview
with pastor Wang. We then spent the following two months to attend
activities and meet each teacher. The second part, arranged in July, 2004,
is
the interview with teachers and volunteers including parents. The final
part, arranged in November, 2004, is another interview with pastor Wang
after attending a series of activities of HKW. During above
processes, we learned the whole scenario.
