At the start, teachers welcome the
kids coming in. We sang songs and danced together. Then the
festival opened with Buzz Light Year and an elk
coming out with an interesting show, and took us to the "Happy Town" on
the earth. When arrived at Happy Town, all of us became
citizens of Happy Town and entered the 2003 snow ball competition and
the gift stacking game.
After the game and songs came
our
favorite - theme drama - "The Little Red Boot". This drama
illustrated the influence of sharing things with others, and encouraged us
to become a person that shares our loves to others.
Then, of course, the Santa came, not one, but
5 of them, we saw their special show and they gave all of us
Christmas gifts. And one very special gift - a
bicycle, very nice! |

What I Have
Learned on December 11, 2004
Chang, Chia-Wei:
This afternoon, we had 7 members attended the Christmas activity. My
favorite part was the drama, it was very lively and made
us laugh. We also were impressed by their elaborate stage scene, which
made the drama very vivid in front of us. In this drama, I
learned we would be more useful when love and sharing was in our heart.
After the activity, we stayed to clean up the place. I admired the
worker's spirit
of patience, the preparation for this activity, the program, stage
setting, and how they freely gave their time.
Kao, Shang-Wen: My classmates came on this
day, we played happily and enjoyed the drama. All of us received
Christmas gifts, and I am looking forward to coming events.
Cheng, Chia-Yu: I had a lot of fun that day
and loved the drama! They gave us gifts freely. I think Happy Kids
Weekend is just like heaven, because there was no quarreling or fighting,
everyone had good relation and helped each other. Let's keep having
Happy Kids Weekends showing love to children and sharing with others.
