The Festival of Resurrection Day

Our Experience

      Resurrection Day Festival 2004 was attended by all us - Cool Girls.  We saw the drama about the resurrection of Jesus.  Their teachers also gave each of us a resurrection egg, it was quite cute.

      In the afternoon, the members of Happy Kids Weekend went out to the streets and invited community kids to attend the activity.  Cool Girls were divided into two groups at different corners, we followed the volunteers and teachers, one group went to a place near NewYork NewYork department store, and the other group went to a place near Hwa-Nan commercial bank.  We took fliers, candy, and balloons to introduce the activity.  Some brothers and sisters dressed like rabbits to attract children and parents.

      Today, we went to church to attend the Resurrection day's event.  The teachers introduced themselves and then played games and sang some songs, after these activities came the theme drama.  Today's drama taught us not to lie and hide our mistakes but to be honest.  Teachers illustrated the drama vividly, we want to see it again.

      This afternoon, we went out to street to introduce Happy Kids Weekend to the community and bless this community telling them about Resurrection day.
I found by joining this activity I learned a lot, and felt it was a blessing to serve this community.

We not only attended activities,

but also introduced the activity to others.
