Da-Qiao Community Development Association's Executive Secretary, Lai Chi-ming, is motivated by the idea of community rejuvenation, hoping to rejuvenate the declining settlement through the revitalization of old houses. After a lot of efforts by the community, we obtained funding from the Nantou Branch of the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau for the improvement of the western half of the Tuā-lōo pîng settlement. This project transformed the old and worn tarred pavement in Dadaocheng into a concrete embossed floor and incorporated the ancient roof tile style of plum blossom petals.
