Cultural and Creative Window Paper Bag

Inheriting and continuing Taiwan’s local craft culture and classroom integration are the teaching characteristics of Luming Junior High. Zhengli woodware is an old traditional craftsmanship from Lukang. In the 1970s, flower windows were once an industry that Lukang was proud of. More orders came from Japan. After a few years, Taiwan flower windows and wood art changed from Sheng to However, the two brothers Chen Zhengzhong and Chen Jianli, the second generation of Zhengli Woodware, chose to inherit the inheritance. They extended the woodwork method to the living utensils, so that the beauty of the flower window can continue to be seen.

Teacher Xiao Wan Ying, a visual arts teacher at Luming Junior High School, took this as an inspiration and led the students to discover the beauty of flower windows. Under the guidance of Teacher Wankuo, students tried to design "unique" flower window paper bags. They drew their own manuscripts and carve them one by one. The painting engraved the unique cultural and creative flower window bag. Teacher Wan Kuo transformed this historical technique into a classroom activity and taught the flower window knowledge through the introduction, inheritance and learning, and let students experience the flower window craftsmanship through handwork. And the story behind it.
