You can DIY bind you book

When we visit of CardHome Printing Factory, we saw the binding machines in which the employees were operating for saddle stitches. Watching the sheets of paper, put them on the machine, and they came out to be a book. Unify; no accidents.

After returning to school, we discussed making small books to promote the work of the printing industry. Some people think of making small book by folding paper, but because we fold the paper, the book produced is really small. So we decided to look up from the Internet and see if there are other ways to make it. We realized that we can also DIY saddle stitch book, so we started working on it!

Things to prepare: 3-5 sheets of A4 size paper, 2 sheets of B4 paper, eraser, stapler, glue, double-sided tape, pencil.

Step 1: First, take out about 3 to 5 sheets of A4 paper, and then fold it in half, so you can see the mark. This is the same page on both sides of the book.

Step 2: Place the eraser on the mark.

Step 3: Turn over to the back, open the stapler with the nail side and nail it down.

Step 4: Turn back to the side of the inner page, unplug the eraser, and press the protruding parts of staples. Nail upper and lower part, the saddle stitch is complete!

Step 5: Take a larger piece of paper. We use B4 here. Take the inner page that you just made to mark. Each side must be 0.5 cm apart from the edge and become two equal sizes and one side. Cut it off, this is the back of the book cover and book back.

Step 6: Take a piece of paper as big as it is, find the paper center, and paste the middle one, which is the back of the book.

Step 7: Paste the next two large sheets. You can cut the corner or not.

Step 8: Finally, fold the bottom one down. It is best to measure the size before you fold, so they will be even.

Step 9: Paste the original inner page and complete it. If you are afraid of being stabbed by a staple, you can put a scotch tape to avoid cuts!
