Q1:What is your company’s management model?

A1:Our administration model is mainly based on talents. Our company will encourage employees to try their best to play their own strengths in their own units. They should not be afraid of failure, have new attempts, and then have the opportunity to change.

Q2:What is your company’s unique business strategy on the product?

A2:Our products are patented in design so they are not easy to be replaced.

Q1:Which yarn is most commonly used on sports socks?

A1:We have tried so many raw materials. The most commonly used is cotton. First, it is the most natural. Second, the characteristic of cotton is about 16% water absorption. Stick cotton and burn it with a lighter. It is completely burned and emits white smoke so it is definitely a natural fiber, which is a disadvantage, but is also an advantage. Its micro-fiber can increase its friction coefficient. The large friction coefficient enables players to do an emergency stop on the sports field, so the cotton fiber will still be the main one to be used.

Q2:Does your company’s socks seem to be thicker?

A2:Most people have a wrong thinking. They think that the foot odor is caused by wearing thick socks, so they wear thin socks. In fact, most of the foot odor is due to the developed sweat glands, so it is necessary to wear high terry (thick) socks. The thicker the high terry is, the better the water absorption will be, and the drier the feet will be.

Q3: Is there any special material on the socks?

A3:Taken bamboo charcoal yarn as an example, it is a natural deodorizing fiber. Many manufacturers claim that their socks are made of bamboo charcoal yarn. It is even heard that they will not stink for two weeks, but most of them work not by themselves but by the chemicals in them. Wearing such socks on the feet will hurt the skin of the feet. Keeping conscientious, our company really uses bamboo charcoal fiber to make deodorant socks. If you have troubles with foot odor, you can wear our bamboo charcoal socks which absolutely make foot no smell for a day. If you wear bamboo charcoal socks and then foot odor trouble is solved, you can change to wear cotton socks. They will never smell. Cotton has the highest moisture rate. After the feet sweat, sweats will be absorbed into the loop, and the feet will get dry. Socks can collocate with the breathable net on the jogging shoes so when you step and squat, the moisture on the soles will be more or less discharged. This is the most natural and healthy way to wear.

Q1:Is the future marketing trend still the Internet?

A1:The Internet is the fastest way to deliver information, but the network can only transmit visual and auditory sports socks with special functions. We still need to let consumers touch it and have a better experience through physical marketing.

Q2:Does the future marketing take East Asia into account?

A2:At present, the problem that Taiwan’s hosiery industry faces is that export goods will be subject to high tariffs. Therefore, before considering marketing to East Asian countries, we hope the government can speed up trade agreements with various countries and regions.

Q3:What is the current marketing strategy?

A3:OH9 develops from the initial word-of-mouth marketing (users pass from mouth to mouth) to the recent social marketing (Facebook, Instagram, Line). Now, it will enter the content marketing (record the feelings of users’ experience of wearing socks).

Q4:Is there any impressive thing in the sales process?

A4:The most impressive thing is that we once sent the jogging socks to the Huwei high school sports class, and let the professional athletes test. Later, a player was very happy to share with us that he ran 800 kilometers wearing our jogging socks before the socks broken.

Q5:After inviting a brand spokesperson, what performance does your company expect?

A5:The current brand spokesperson is Taiwan’s volleyball leader - Chien-Chen Chen who will help us increase about 10% to 20% customers in the volleyball field.

Q6:Didn’t you consider adding a physical storefront?

A6:Expanding the physical storefront is a must, which we have always insisted on because if we want to grow the sales volume of our brand, we must grow through the physical storefront. But so far, many people in the physical store have connected with us, but there has never been an appropriate place for the exposure of our brand.  When the opportunity is mature, God has his own arrangements, and now our company will go with the flow.

Q7:Does your company participate in some special exhibitions of products?

A7:Yes. As long as there is a suitable product for display, we will participate in the activities to increase the popularity of the product.

Q1: When designing socks, what difficulties have you encountered? How to solve them? What does the design appearance (type) tends to be?

A1:The exterior design part of the sock is aimed to catch your feeling and we hope the consumer can wear it comfortably. But consumers like beautiful socks, just like clothes. If there is a conflict with the function of the socks, we focus on the function in the part of the sole and on the instep is the presentation of design elements. We take each advantage, and then make a pair of socks that can catch your feeling and catch your eyes.

Q2:What are the new designs and ideas about socks now?

A2:Because our company has hired professional art designers, it is completely free for the staff of the design department to release their gifts. If new products come out, we will sell some first. If the evaluation is good, we will consider mass production.

Q1:How to control the quantity of inventory?

A1:Most of our goods are produced after the order is placed. In the control of the spot, there are employees making a strict calculation and trying not to have excess goods.
