Shi-Fu and Qiang-Bao

Qiang-Bao (搶包, portioning buns)

Qiang-Bao is a ceremony which starts after the god back to the temple. People will put many buns (包子) in a big basket, some buns have coins inside, some have a red envelope beneath. After getting back to the temple, the puppets in the shape of god will dance around that big basket and pick up buns, then give them to the villagers, just like receiving the blessing from god.

Shifu (食福, food of blessings)

After Bei-Man Feast, the person in charge of the activity will serve as a cook to cook the offerings for the god. He (or she) will invite everyone to enjoy the food as a symbol of being lucky whole year. But it is different in Xiju, people do not cook the offerings instead of sending them to the villagers.
