Xiqiu Village
Xiqiu Village is located in the highest place in Xiju, and it is also the remotest village here. This village is hidden between trees. Because of its intimacy, it becomes the military center on this island. People can look over Qingfan Harbor which is at the foot of the hill, as well as the situation on the sea, thus the military command center is here.
There are many soldiers here, to deal with the emergency at any time. Villagers make living on the consumption from the soldiers; therefore, local delicacies, internet cafe and comic rental are main business. There are also some villagers doing fishery and farming here.
You-Rong Road is behind us. The slope of You-Rong Road is about 100%, meaning the angle is 45°
Juguang Defense Brigade's activity center is sitting on the top of You-Rong Road.
This monument is the landmark of Xiqiu Village. Wen-Yan, our
Xiqiu boy guided us in his village.
The famous 831 Troop in Xiju. The military brothels were called
"831 Troops". Xiju 831 closed in 1991, and our nation repealed
military brothels a few years later.
There is a gym and vending center in Juguang Hero House.
Ya-Ya, one of the multifunction shops in Xiqiu. Multifunction shops
in Xiqiu sell everything you need. Soldiers are their most important
customers.

The gigantic slogan is a wall to prevent people from falling into the
sea for its difficulty in stopping when going down the slope.
