Beitou clay mineral came from Guazikeng foothills nearby now Datun Mountain, about 30 million years ago, belongs to the formation of "Fingers layer". Because of the long-time re-accumulation, weathering erosion and other natural phenomena composition changes, it produces white rough grain, pure quality the "kaolin clay ."

Since using these famous clay for making ceramics, the quality of these finished product is also famous in the world. From 1950 until 1960, Beitou became the most important pottery raw materials city of Taiwan. During those blooming days of Beitou pottery indtustry, there are more than 40 raw ceramics material factory for transform soil into clay, the washing, filling, drain step process known as "wash soil oil".

In 1897, the technique of producing pottery and porcelain had been brought by Chinese emigrants to Taiwan during the past three hundred years. Guazikeng, Beitou,with abundant clay, became an important place for manufacturing pottery.

At the time of Japanese colonization, Tosa Aki Shaoren Shi brought pottery technician from Kyoto and established pottery factory in 1896. since the firing tea sets, vases, wine and other Japanese-style products elegant style, the Bank said, "Beitou burn" . 1918 Beitou pottery run by Kitaro letter harem continue operations, and renamed "Beitou Ceramic Co., Ltd.," to 1934 and then renamed "Taiwan Ceramic Co., Ltd."

Another Beitou ceramics branch is famous native of Hyogo, Japan, in 1923. Beitou Pottery was not only famous for its elegant style but also a leading character for the development of pottery in Taiwan. For example, Zhongshan Hall, National Taiwan University College of Liberal Arts and Administration Building, Taipei Post Office, judicial building, Maruyama Park Jiantan "Taiwan rural "mosaic murals, etc., used tiles are produced in Beitou.

After Republic of China has taken over Taiwan, National Government took over "Taiwan Ceramic Co., Ltd." and changed its name to "Taiwan Ceramic Co. Beitou Factory" in 1946. Two years later, it merged into "Taiwan Mining Co.". The subsequent production kilns and factories, "Seven ceramics", "Jinyi together", "brilliance", "eternal life", "Wing", " factory Yongfeng "," Chiron "," Tamkang "and other utensils of despotism are derived from "Beitou burn" and "Datun burning" of these two systems. "Jing Quan Kiln", "Yongyu", "Lite", "crown", "big margin", "Beitou ceramics" and other factories are derived from another branch, the Taiwan Mining Company, which produced specially tiles, bricks and other production.

After the 1970, Guizikeng clay mining is prohibited because of environmental conservation, the ceramics industry gradually transferred to Yingge, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Miaoli and other places to build factories. The ceramic tile industry has become the mainstream industry, and impact the construction industry and Taiwan's economic development  comprehensively .

Ltd. had been established by Mr. Ren Ke-zhong in February 10, 1958. His company specializes in imitation of the ancient Chinese art of ceramics, plot 20 years of experience, which aims at the revival of Chinese culture, beautification of human life, the promotion of cultural exchanges to enhance mutual understanding among peoples, common to the world civilization, the pursuit of human happiness. And the creation of himself "China Art Gallery" for the common relations agency. Has been used world called "China Ceramics" and "Chinese art". However, pottery industry are facing a decline because the running out of clay. Gradually the name of Beitou Pottery Town has been forgotten by people.
