★S. H. Chen
The Deputy Mayor of New Taipei City has a strong academic background and a great deal of work experience. This hydraulic engineer built his career from the bottom up. He studied hard as a student and had always been very passionate about his work. In 2002, as the Deputy Director of the Water Resources Agency, he managed and coordinated water resources to help people get through a water crisis, minimizing the impacts. He assisted the then Director General Jin-San Huang to revise the Water Act and Water Supply Act.
Shen-Hsien Chen served as the Director General for the Water Resource Agency between 2003 and 2009. During his tenure, he was in charge of several major projects, including the Yuansantze Flood Diversion Project, which ended the problems of flood in the Taipei Metropolitan area, especially in Xizhi District.
Through Deputy Director Shen-Hsien Chen's expertise as a hydraulic engineer, we hope to learn more about the JW Eco-Technology and Mr. Jui-Wen Chen.
