3-1 Kaohsiung Spring Arts Festival

Kaohsiung Spring Arts Festival is not only a performance or a art show in Kaohsiung City but also a transformative Arts Movement in the city. First started from 2010 and held by Bureau of Cultural Affairs, Kaohsiung City Government, We Art Together Foundation, Kaohsiung City Symphony Orchestra Culture and Arts Education Foundation, Kaohsiung Spring Arts Festival is considered the most important Arts Festival in Kaohsiung City. International-wise arts groups, domestically well-known clubs and local and creative teams are cordially invited to participate in this Festival. The Arts Festival is composed of the following types of performances: Fine arts, music, drama, theatre productions, dance, parent and child collaborative events, and traditional dramas and classics stage performances.

The solid and high self-regulated team for Kaohsiung Spring Arts Festival insists to organize, plan, invite, promote and ticket selling on their own so that they can make sure the quality of each performance. The team works with the staff of Jhihde Hall, Kaohsiung City Da-Dong Arts Center, The Pier-2 Art Center, Creative Studio Subsidy, and Outdoor concert in front the Kaohsiung Fine Arts Museum and together they aim to provide and improve the quality of the performances each year and with their ultimate goals not only to give the public more opportunities to experience the art, music and cultural events but also connect Kaohsiung City with the world of Arts internationally.
