This is the quaint wooden door of Chin-fu Shih Woodcarving Workshop, which is carved by Master Shih with many efforts.

The couplet on the two sides of the door was carved in seal character by Master Shih: "Delicate dots, lines, and planes on wood, three spaces of fine and exquisite works".

This is a place for visitors' signature. Behind it, there is the board of "Taiwan Crafts Workshop". We can select the patterns we like. Then craftspeople will carve it for us and stick it on the wall. How excited!

One week later, Master Shih finished the carving of our names and stuck them on the wall. It was a very special experience to see your name on it.

Many foreigners come here for visit and leave their signatures.

There is a line of gully covers, exquisitely carved by wood!

The patterns on the gully covers are auspicious Chinese traditional patterns. Some are local aquatic lives. Visitors, young and old, are deeply impressed by them.

A crane in China stands for longevity.

A fish stands for enough things for each year.

A turtle stands for longevity.          A butterfly stands for beauty and auspiciousness.           A sheep stands for stability and safety.

Aquatic lives are so lovely.
