Tailor 
Family
Master Chen sat at the feet of his parents. His father Xiao-Nuan Chen is a tailor of suit came from Fujian Province of China, and his mother Yu-Jin Zheng is a tailor of western-style dress. Since born in a tailor's family, Master Chen become a tailor of cheongsam spontaneously.
Master Chen's father made western-style clothes including vests and pants originally. He learned making suit, cheongsam, coats and so on later when he moved to Wanhua District of Taiwan. In 1950s, the orders for mandarin jackets and cheongsams are much more than western-style clothes, so master Chen's father changed his career to learn and make cheongsam. After master Chen's parents got married in 1960s, they moved to Dadao-Cheng to manage “YU-FENG Cheongsam”.
At a very young age, when Master Chen's classmates played or studied after school, Master Chen always needed to help his parents as an assistant. Master Chen formally started to learn sewing cheongsams from 14 years old, and he took many small jobs in the shop in the beginning. Master Chen's father was greeting clients, and Master Chen is responsible for buying materials and measuring body. According to sound training and development, Master Chen has solid foundation of excellent sewing cheongsam skills.
Master Chen inherited “YU-FENG Cheongsam” from his father.
Master Chen sewed a cheongsam full after he completed military service. The clubs in Beitou were prosperous at that time, and public relations girls in clubs liked to wear custom-made cheongsams. Because Master Chen is very diligent and attentive, he had lots of faithful customers.

Master Chen said although the business of custom-made cheongsams is decline, sometimes have no surplus the whole year, but because “YU-FENG Cheongsam” is inherited from his parent, he insists operating the shop and sewing cheongsams gratefully.
