3. This Cyberfair project considers how to make the old scenic spot to the new highlight, and it makes the sightseeing issue “Baiguo Mt. Hiking Trail” popular again.

    Our Cyberfair project is based on the topic of sightseeing and it is carried out by means of interview. Besides collecting the relevant information on line and from the books and then sorting them out into articles, we also went to the spot and investigated the features of the landscape. From the on-the-spot investigation, interview of the relevant person, simulated planning of each travelling and organization of activity promotion, we discussed the past, present and future of the Linzai Street. Every time we went back to school, we always collected and analyzed the relevant data and kept the research log. This accumulated our sincere belief bit by bit. We hope it can be spread through our teeny-weeny power, and make people from all over the world know that we have many intellectual ecological trails which are available for people to keep fitness and leisure. Through the main purpose of attending this CyberFair, to make use of the infinite network, hoping all kinds of local sightseeing items or business organizations all over the world can be promoted, and the whole world can be linked with each other. Then the vision of the common people  can be wider and more open. We hope this old spot “Baiguo Mt. Hiking Trail” can become more lively through this Cyberfair project and can become the new highlight which is well-known.

4. What has been the impact of your project on your community?

This Cyberfair project study activity is a kind of learning activity which make us be different from the common schoolmate. In this project, we should brainstorm, which includes make discussions for the team name and draw up the study theme, direction and discuss how to make the webpage outline, learning how to interview the elder people, how to interact with the teaches from environmental education promotion association, how to interview the Town Mayor, how to planning the schedule of the activity, how to observe the features and ecological landscape of each trails, and then set up the website and edit the content of the webpage. We feel happy during the study and interview, but we also feel hard because we should rack our brains to sorting out the data. After the study, we all know that we are making contributions to the land -”Baiguo Mt.” where we grow up. What we do is to promote its good features and beauties to the people who don’t know it. We want to thank our school director and teachers who give us such a special chance, and the parents who help and guide us to know the local knowledge, as well as the people who helped us. They make us be confident and have ideas to finish such special task, to make people from all regions know our “Baiguo Mt. Hiking Trail” which is closely related to our growth.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

(1) Paper information

The paper information of this Cyberfair project was mostly provided by Mr. Ming-chuan Huang and Mr. Chin-tsun Li from Changhua environmental education promotion association, and some are provided by Culture and Tourism Section, Yuanlin Township Office. As for these information, we classified and sorted them out after carefully reading and understand them, and then we wrote down the ideas and marked the data source in the content clearly.

(2) Internet data collection

As for all kinds of electronic data collected online, after the sorting and analyzing, we turned them into our own ideas, and then we introduced the special local products and natural ecological resources of Baiguo Mt. Hiking Trail to make people know, and in the Cyberfair project, the website reference are clearly specified.

(3) Photos, records and videos

"We Are One Team" uses the digital camera and smart phone to take photos and make videos for each visit and interview, and present them on the web page after approval of the interviewee. Most of the photos are shot in Baiguo Mt. Hiking Trail all by ourselves and a few of them are searched on line, and we will mark the source of them on the web page.

The charts, photos and videos on this Cyberfair project are made under the guidance of the Director Cao and teachers. We cooperated together to compile and edit the photos, copy out the typescripts and edit the films. These achievements owe to our hard learning.

6. Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises:

~ Discoveries~

    From this Cyberfair project, we found that after the attentively input and transform from the workers of Yuanlin Township Office and Changhua environmental education promotion association, the Baiguo Mt. Hiking Trail was refreshed. The longest slide existing for many years was turned into the “Joy Slide”. The common Tengshan Trail was added with Taiwanese idioms. All kinds of ecological pictures are shown in the gallery. And we also learned the triple-lap words. They show the vitality and vigor of the Tengshan Trail. We also attend the tung blossom season and Chinese chestnut season sightseeing activity which are matched and outspreaded with the trail landscape. We also proposed the idea of star fruit season and star fruit industrial museum to the town mayor, and hope that this amiable and vivacious Baiguo Mt. Hiking Trail can attract more people here as the good place to keep fit and learn the ecology.

~ Lessons~

    From this Cyberfair project, we have learned the importance of team work and have known that the completion of one task can’t leave the communication and negotiation with others. The important elements for communication and negotiation is learning from each other, understanding each other and sharing the experience with each other. If someone cares about the inequality assignment of the work or especially love to fight for showing himself, the proceeding and schedule of the study content will be influenced. Therefore, the cooperation of the group is based on the mutual tolerance and sincere sharing of each group member, and then the real communication and cooperation can be done, and the consensus of the group members can be built up. Finally, the Cyberfair project can get a chance to be finished effectively.

~ Surprises~

    We live in Yuanlin Township. On weekends and holidays, climbing mountains in Baiguo Mt., playing the slide and having delicious food are common things. We do not have any special impression to exploration, operation and development of Baiguo Mt. Hiking Trail. After this Cyberfair project, we paid visits and on-the-spot investigation to Baiguo Mt. Hiking Trail over and over again to know the evolution, sightseeing trend and ecological environment. We are surprised to find that the Leisure Life in Linzai Street-Baiguo Mt. Hiking Trail is the life wisdom accumulation of the ancestors, and it is the treasury for the original ecology extension, and it is also a good place for mountain climbing and cycle racing. It makes us know more about the ground, and it also encourages “We Are One Team” to positively share this beautiful and healthy good place to more people.
