Samba Team Ming De Samba Band Rock! Samba Team Ming De Samba Band Rock! Mingde Samba Band is the only band combined with students and parents in Taiwan. This band represents Mingde Elementary School for many school events and activities. Our instructor is Teacher Chen Hong Yue. Our members are : Chen Hong Lin , Lang Zhi Wen , You Ya Ru , Lee Bing Wei , Tsao Ling Yi ,Chen Peng Yu , Wu Meng Xi , Chen Wei Han , Wu Meng Lin , Lang Yu Xiang , Duyuan Hao ,Chen Hong Lun , Lee Bing Chen , Jow Wei and Jessica. |

  Yingjye Chen, I am 37 years old. I have joined the Samba band since the establishment period. With two children and a group of enthusiastic partners, we grow up together along with the joy of learning. Uninterrupted weekly exercise is key team cohesion. I am now in charge of the tambourine instrument. In the samba band, it is one of the most lightweight instruments. Although I love music, but listening to music and playing music are completely two different things. Every time a new rhythm exercises will always be shot down immediately, correctly play the rhythm is very highly difficult. However, it can still be overcome through diligent practice. I would videotape the new rhythm, and then go home repeat practice. Then, I can play the rhythm right. I like Samba drum passionate, sunny and light melody which can make everyone felt the music from the inside out, thus bring joy and hope to us. Hope to have the opportunity to learn a variety of musical styles. Let our Mingde Parentage Samba Band team bring more happy feeling and happiness to everyone! Music refines the temperament; rhythm touches people's hearts! I am the mother of 5th grade Bing Wei, also graduated Bing Chen (Meihui). Whenever I think of Saturday morning and practice with sons in Samba band, it will relieve me from five hard working days. Revel in ebullient note of samba, it has been four years ... recall the motivation, to let babies get in touch with the joy of music, to enjoy in life. To my surprise, I have more involved than them, inextricably. I play tambourine; although a small instrument, the sound is very loud indeed blow out and light emerald. Old Reggae ~ fast paced, full of boundless vitality and dynamism. New Reggae ~ lively melody, with a youthful atmosphere. Batucada ~ Distributing passion and resonance. Our performances are always mixture, making fun with harmony and pleasure. Welcome to all partners who love music. Give a lot of advice and support for adults and children. And also welcome to enjoy with dance. Carol HU is mother of Tsao Ling-Yi who is a 6th grade student at Mingde Elementary School. In order to make more new friends, when Ling-Yi was in third grade, we participated in the school's activities on Saturday, joined the Mingde paternity samba band. Because I am not particularly musical talent, I can only be responsible for playing the Surdo II drum, always placement on the first beat, simple and important. Every time the teacher always said: Surdo, the first shot, is very important, related to the whole team's performance! After all, I feel that I am really important now. In the samba band, I make friends. We all together play the drums, performances, eat and talk. This is a place much like a family. At here, I feel relaxed, happy, one of the warmest corner. |

I am a father of a 6th grade and 4th grade Mingde Elementary School students. I joined the Samba band three years ago. I and my two boys first applied together for better parent-child relationship. But we do enjoy very much afterward. I realize Samba drum beat is so relaxed and happy. After three years of training, but also by the careful guidance of a teacher, specializing Surdo II drum I've started, and now played easily. There are many rhythms such as new, old reggae, etc. are clearly come to mind. This year my boy will enter into junior high school, Mingde will be my alma mater. It is our honor to join into the Samba band. Let us work together and learn it!
I am Yuan Hao's mother. In order to link up the junior high school education, when my son was about to grade 5th, I had transferred him to Mingde Elementary School. In order to let him quickly adapt to the new environment and to make new friends, I found a parent-child associations on Saturday that we can participate in together – Mingde paternity Samba band. I At beginning, I join the band not because I like samba instrument, but to set an example and let the boy know how mom adopted into a strange new environment and hope this can make him quickly get into the new school. Accompanied and practice with my boy, I may observe the process of how he dealt with affairs. Also, we started to work together to overcome those unfamiliar musical instruments and musical styles. I recently learned to play musical instruments like the CAIXA, for the reggae music. I do not know very much about notation, play method is difficult to describe in words, and I have learned from the Internet search and found out it is a dance and dance music of the West Indies. Its distinguishing feature is a strong shot in the second and fourth beat. It had a great influence in the 1960s on the Western pop music. Especially in the 1970s, it began to become one of the mainstream popular music genres. Although I do not know notation, and do not know the correct play method, but I like its American rhythm and blues ballad style, and also the passion of Latin music. With percussion instruments to bring out the main melody and rhythm, you can hear a distinct rhythm and fixed melody line. This is a fun and educational environment, by a group of parents who love their children to learn Samba band cohesion by creating a positive learning environment.
