Nurse Description

Sharing of a slow-flying angel’s mother

Visit the Child Development Center      Photo gallery

The supervisor Zen-zen is the soul of the Child Development Center, coordinating all matters. She explained thoroughly about the development process, its purpose, clients, members, environment, curriculum planning, and so on. We had a basic understanding and introduced "Center of love" on this website. We were impressed by what the supervisor Zen-zen said, hoping these words will arouse sympathy and more people will help them.

In Taiwan, currently children of zero to six years old with disabilities manual are about 14,000. Only one-fifth of which is conducting early intervention, while other four-fifths, about 11,000 children, are eagerly hoping for the chance to reverse their fate.

Fortunate people should not forget the unfortunate.

Who can give these children struggling alone in the adversity some strength?

~~ It’s  YOU ~~

A mother of Slow-flying angel --- Xue-Jing Wu, 2012 National Mercy Award

~Walk on~Xue-Jing encouraged us

Xue-Jing has three kids. Her second child had cerebral palsy and died at the age of five due to pneumonia. Her third child is also a cerebral palsy child. With families and social workers’ support, she remains strong and courageous, dedicating to social welfare and charity. She told us, "Do not be afraid to fail, and there is opportunity. Do not despair, and there is hope."

Now, Xue-Jing not only donates to children of poverty, but also serves as the leader of parents group of Child Development Center. She promotes the importance of early intervention, shares personal experience, raise tuition and living expenses for disadvantaged children, and introduces transport vehicles and other resources for early intervention service. She becomes the guardian of slow-flying angels. From her selfless dedication, we witness the power of maternal love.

We got the story above by interviewing Xue-Jing, and were touched by her mercy deeds. Finally, she told us, "To take good care of yourself, so that you can have physical and mental health to help more people who need help."
