After the competition, our school invited us to hold three Christmas Eve concerts to help the school teachers and students know more about the Children Orchestra. The first concert was joined by guests from Nepal. They enjoyed the wonderful music we played and felt worthy of the trip, which made us proud.

Director Chia-Yu Lin introduced the guests from Nepal The accordion quartet had everyone experience a different music style

The most impressive concert was the third one, which was held on Christmas Day. The little English volunteers opened the show by singing Christmas carol. We played the music for them and enjoyed in the show. Then, we played "The Phantom of the Opera," which was sometimes emotional and sometimes rocky. Everyone enjoyed in this concert. I believe that after the experience which fostered our bravery, we will have a great result on the national music contest in March.

The three concerts were all hosted by Ms. Chia-Fen Hsu. She invited us to introduce our musical instruments to the audience. When I took on the microphone, I mustered up my courage to face so many people. "Xylophones are composed of resonators, wooden panels and the frame. Xylophones could be divided as soprano and bass xylophones. We strike the wooden bars with the mallets. The shorter the wooden bars, the sharper the pitch, vice versa." Again, I conquered my fear, facing the world with more courage.
