Preface
"Activity News" recorded the activities we participated in the past one year. These expereinces were valuable in broaden our horizons and train ourselves with more performance besides practicing for competitions. Whether participating in big or small events, it is hoped that we could always be calm and steady in performing our music. |

 It's the much anticipated day for us, for we are invited to performance for the Changhua County Sports Meet. We all got up early and began our practice. When we gathered at the bus, we were delayed by the malfunction of the music instrument car, which forced us to wait under the scorching sun.......<More>

 We learned much professional knowledge in this tour and touched some musical instruments which were nearly imopossible to get in daily life. These instruments are only for display, not for real practice. But they were partially presented to us to experience these precious music instruments since we are all members of the Children Orchestra.......<More>

We went to the concert of "The Chambermaids Wind Quintet" for students this afternoon. When we went to Yualin Performance Hall, we saw many people from different schools. We walked along with the staff and waited for the beginning of the feast.......<More> |

The Taiwan Public Television Service recorded the program of Ping He Children Orchestra today. We conformed to the director's direction and did what was asked. Ms. Fang-Min Liu's teaching was the most interesting. She taught assiduously and we pretended that we did not know anything that she had talked about. We just bathed in the great teaching atmosphere.......<More>

After ceaseless practices every day, it's time for our competition! We still practiced until the last sunset and started our fight for Yuanlin, with enthusiastic parents who helped lug the musical instruments. We were joking and talking on the way, but once we got into the hall, the tension just spreaded. After all, this is the moment that we have strived for the whole year.......<More> |

The Children Orchestra concert guided by Ms. Fang-Min Liu held the first concert for Christmas Eve in the activity center. The event was joined by students from about ten different classes. The principal and the staff of an English international school in Nepal also came to the event. Besides, there were the chief executive and teachers of the Zheng-He Academy. At the beginning, the Children Orchestra performed enchanting music such as the suite of The Phantom of the Opera. Then, Ms. Chia-Fen Hsu, the host of the day, explained each musical instrument thoroughly, which helped the audience learn more about the Children Orchestra.......<More> |

Held by Zenan Homeless Social Welfare Foundation, the "30 Poor Scholars" activity invited us to perform in their charity year-end party. We saw several considerate service sections, such as free haircutting and spring couplets. We then moved the musical instruments to the temporary stage "Transformer." Due to the size of the stage, we had to squeeze ourselves in our performance.......<More> |

 Today is the annual Lunar New year greeting party. We went to the activity center in our Children Orchestra uniform at noon, preparing the opening of the event. The center was teemed with happy atmosphere, with a long line of small lanterns, which one can't wait to bring home.
All the teachers and the audience came quickly. Even though we were much prepared, we were still nervous.......<More> |
