There are totally 103 questionnaires for the international passengers.

79% of the destination of the survey responders is Shanghai. And there are 17% of passengers are going to other cities in mainland China. Only 4% of passengers are going to Japan or transfer to U.S.A. Because this questionnaire is written in Chinese, none Chinese spoken passengers are excluded from this survey. The percentage of the numbers of the taking planes is quiet even. 35% people go abroad for the first time. 31% of the passengers go abroad for 2~4 times and 34% of the passengers go abroad for more than five times.

1. The analysis of the passengers’ basic information

Age: Most passengers (35%) are from 31~40 years old. There are only 13% of passengers are under 20 and older than 60 years old. Therefore we presume the working population (20~60 years old) need the international airlines most.

Gender: The numbers of the female and male survey responders are almost equal. Compared to the questionnaire we do for the domestic passengers, many international tourists are much willing to help with this survey.

Occupation: Most of the passengers are business people or people in service sector.

However, because these two terminals are connected and the signs are pretty big and written in different languages, the passengers can find the right one at last.
