Taipei Songshan Airport used to play an important role in Taiwanese air transportation in the past and has changed its operation in different time and political and economic background. Now, with the close relationship between Taiwan and China, the importance of TSA is back to the world stage again. TSA is reborn because of its internationalization. Here are our dreams and expectations toward it:

1. Better Ground Transportation

There are always a lot of vehicles in Taipei city. To solve the traffic jam, we need more different transportation alternatives. For example: buses, MRT, taxis, cars, and etc. This can make the passengers to get and leave the airport easier and faster.

2. Better Financial Service

TSA is designed mainly for the business people. Therefore, to provide a better financial environment is essential. We wish to have worldwide financial analysis and financial institution in TSA in the future.

3. Better Guidance for Travelers

With more and more tourists and visitors, it would be nice to have all kinds of pamphlets with traveling information (including what to buy and where to go) in the airport. We can also make certain promotion for local tours for the independent tourists. For the volunteers who help in the airport, they should be able to speak different languages and provide all kinds of service. This is important and will help the airport to create a friendly image to impress the foreigners.

4. Better Connection and Cooperation with Other Countries

To achieve the goal of being “small and efficient”, we hope TSA can make better connection with other countries. After the direct flight from Tokyo Japan to Songshan Taipei, and Shanghai China to Songshan Taipei, now the government is seeking cooperation with airport in Seoul Korea. Flying to Japan in the morning for meeting and to Korea in afternoon, and flying back to Taipei to have dinner with family is no longer a dream in the future.
