Although we all live in Taipei county, we don't know much about Losheng. Therefore, we hope to understand our environment. More and more people will see our project and know about the new condition of Losheng. |

This is my first time to join the cyber fair. We interviewed the social volunteer workers, teachers, and residents of Losheng. There were many unfinished construction sites when we first arrived.
After that, we continued to visit the place, and chatted with the residents about the historical events. We also participated the second hand sale and the experience of disabled activity which also made us realized how it feels like to lead a life with such inconvenience.

This is also my first time to set foot in the cyber fair, and I’m quite honored. Joining this project have enriched my knowledge about computer. Although there were some people not being cooperative, we still go through those obstacles. In our second visit to Losheng, we experienced the inconvenience aspect that those residents could have met in their daily lives, ex; to open a bottle, to buckle the buttons, to blind walk..etc.. after this, I would never ignore people who is in need of help.《Top》

I’m happy to join the cyber fair. In the period of time, I’ve learned a lot of knowledge about the leprosy’s disease and the historical background of the sanatorium. From the interview, I also feel the frustration and neglect they have suffered. For those old residents who have considered this place as their home, it is really a sad thing to see their own home being tear down and forced to leave their beloved homeland.
Next, our teacher takes us to the second hand sale where we get to join the activities as being disabled and experienced how to overcome these difficulties in daily life. I never thought it would be such a lot of pain to walk with a wand, especially for those people who have to take the wand with them for their whole life. Anyway, it’s really impressive for me to walk in the place and learn such more about it.

Through this project, we all learned how the leprosy patients deal with their daily life, such as how to take off their clothes, how to push the wheelchair, how to move when they are blind. When I first walked in the community school, it made me feel fresh. Though there were some shabby buildings, however, I feel it’s a nice place. Despite the residents are disabled people, they are all very nice to us. This place has everything that we lack around us, the big trees, the green land, and the nice people, therefore, I will work hard on the homepage to let everyone know about this place.《Top》

It’s been over a year since I knew about Losheng community school. Everyone here is not selfish and doesn’t ask for return. This kind of spirit made me deeply moved. We don’t know what will happen to this place, but at least we were there for some time. There are people keep coming to devote and to give whatever they got for the place. If you ask me why I like it here, I will tell you it’s because the architecture is old, the trees are tall, the people are friendly, and kids can run free. It’s just like a living classroom. There are some knowledge that can’t be learned outside the place.
