During the process of interview, we found that betel nuts and betel-nut leaves can be made into dolls, ornaments, pencils, flutes, nano-soap, and dyes. Hope everybody can share the experience with us and remind those beautiful memories.

Directions:  Narrator taught us dry out the betel-nut leaf and press it flat. After cutting it into the shape of the fan then draw the pattern you like with water color  or color pencils. Those colorful patterns made the fans beautiful. And it is especially cooler because of hand made.

Directions: Use the dry betel-nut seed to make it into the head then peel the skin of the head into hair. The body can be made from play dough. When you finished, insert a pencil on the bottom then a betel-nut doll pencil is finished.

Directions: The professors in NPUST told us that the betel nuts can be made into the dyes. Boil some old betel nuts with some special medium, then use the clips to hang up the cloth and dip it into the dyes, the beautiful pattern and color will be dyed on the cloth. The color of the dyes are determined by its medium, those are rust and lime in average. The dyes are not as beautiful as those produced by chemical process, but they are healthy and environmental because of natural sources. 

Directions: Betel nuts can be burned into nano carbon powder, but the heat should be well-controlled or too low won't make powder successfully ; too high will make it into ash, so it is absolutely a high technique. Then add some fragrance or essence to make the hand wash and soap complete. The nano carb hand wash can clean the hands easily and it also smell good, but it is black so before you rinse your hand you seem like a black people. It haven't been sold in a large quantity, but it is really a soap which can get rid off the bacteria deep inside your skin.

5.Betel-nut Flute

Directions: Dr. Lan told as the way to make betel-nut flute and coconut flute are the same. They all use the rolled leaves and leave a space for resonance, just like theory of vibrating the air and making sounds.
