The Old Wall of Zuoying has been standing for more than 260 years.

The Old Wall of Zuoying is now registered historic sites

The "Old Wall of Zuoying" was the first clay wall to be built in Kaohsiung. It was built in 1825 by magistrate Fung Chuan-suei, and is regarded as a first-class monument. There are three gates still standing, namely the Eastern, Southern, and Northern gates, and the remnants of the western gate for visitors to appreciate.
