This is a precious experience. I understood the culture of Truku much better. Last time, I went to a visit with my teachers and the big brothers and sisters in National Hualien University of Education. The visit to Mr. Chen Lin Chung-Yi impressed me the most. I really admire the hunting skills of our fellow tribesmen. I hope I can be as brave and tough and my ancestors.

I feel bad! The little digital heroes program will end at the end of the month! I remember when we have to introduce myself in front of the big brothers and sisters, we were all very shy. We then interviewed old madam Lee, the weaving women, and the sculptor uncles. They have very impressive experience that made us feel ashamed in the interviews. I thank the teachers and the big brothers and sisters for their help so that we have better experience with our traditional culture!

This is a fresh and interesting event. We got out of the computer classroom sometimes to relax. After playing for a little while, we went back to the computer classroom to continue our search for massive data for the project. I feel that I have learned very much after participating in the little digital heroes program. Sometimes, when I feel gloomy, I will think about the time we went out together for interviews. Then I will be happy again. I hope I can take part in the same event like little digital heroes the next time.

I am honored that I was able to take part in this meaningful event. The little fellows are very interested in learning and are enthusiastic in participation. This event integrated information education, folk culture education, humanity education and mother language education, and really is a meaningful and solid one. Keep up with the good work, the little brave contestants of Truku!!TOP

This was the first time that I was appointed as the convener, and it was the second time that I participated in the little digital heroes program. Before, I had some senior class fellow students accompanying me to assist the primary school pupils in supervising and teaching them how to make web pages. This was quite an event to remember. I undertook the program this year and led by the teachers to Hung Yeh Primary School in Wan Lung Hsiang. Over the last year, I have joy and I have hardship. What is far more important is that I witnessed the growing up of each little fellow and the partners. I think it will be the ultimate purpose to take part in the event.

In the past, we were led by fellow students in senior classes to take part in this event. Therefore, everything went well. This year, we had to lead fellow students in junior classes. We have a lot of pressure at the very beginning. Fortunately, the teachers gave us so much assistance to gather the pupils and contact the celebrities in the village. Under such assistance, we could smoothly launch the activities of the digital light spot. We also feel happy with our encounter with the little fellows at Hung Yeh Primary School. Witnessing their growing up, we have a good sense of achievement.

I feel very happy to have this opportunity to participate in the Cyberfair and in assisting the little fellows of Hung Yeh Primary School to prepare the web pages. I found out the passion and liveliness of these little fellows at Hung Yeh, and I can make use of this opportunity to teach them how to use computer and related computerized devices. They also learned much more about their own culture and know many things that they did not have a chance to touch before. I am grateful to have this opportunity to take part in this event and I wish I could do much better!TOP

I am very happy to take part in this event. This is indeed the very first time for me to know about these little fellows on the stone steps. I witnessed them improve in computer skills, from  total strangers to a well-trained users of computers in typing, information sourcing. They grow up while they learn. They have achieved and accomplished being little digital heroes. This made people happy. I wish the little fellows can continue to learn and improve!

I am very happy to take part in the little digital heroes. I am impressed with the whole process, the web pages, Truku tribe and the encounter with the little fellows. I am lucky to be in Hualien. It is because of this reason that I have the opportunity to get closer to and know better about the aboriginal people and to understand their unique culture. I am grateful to all members of the team for mutual assistance and cooperation under joint effort. We helped ourselves to contact the traditional Truku culture and helped the little fellows know better about their own people. TOP

I found the little fellows taking part in this little digital heroes program are very passionate and well behaved. We cannot say that they have really grown up, and they still behave like kids. However, everything is under control. The only difference between the aboriginal children and urban children is that the former is child-like. We have to be patient in dealing with children. We have to repeat the same thing. They will then listen. For example, making the web pages. It is difficult to ask them to sit tight and keep quite and not go to the game pages. We have to repeat that several times. The same is true for the web page procedure. But I built up the friendship with the little fellows through playing around. I learned about the different characters and personalities of each little fellow thorough the activities, which I found most fruitful.

I am deeply impressed with this event. From their faultless faces giving an air of willingness to learn. This vivid passion is the best reward for the work we did in the event and is the best encouragement to use! I witnessed how we walk hand in hand to accomplish so many things. I am very happy that I can take part in helping them grow up! I am also very happy that I can accomplish this project with everyone involved！

I got the opportunity to know this group of little fellows at Hung Yeh Primary School through the participation of the digital little heroes program. Their childish smile and sunny temper are indeed the driving forces for our participation. Through this event, I know much more about the culture of Truku, the ethnic characters and habits of these people.

I learned another way of interacting with children from the Digital Little Hero Program, which was quite different from leading a team. During the program, I showed them how to register data and followed to interview celebrities in the community. I learned a lot from the program.TOP
