Writing of Gains

We visited the house of the president of the committee. The president showed us the disposing picture of water pipes. In the beginning of our tea garden visiting, the president of the committee let us see the water motors, and then he opened the spraying device, which sprayed water to those tea trees. It can make tea trees absorb more water. Yet, the spraying needed many water pipes’ connecting. Thus, it was definitely a hard work to irrigate tea trees, because it needed plenty of time and hard works. Building water towels also needed money. For all those reasons, it was not easy to manage the tea gardener. One needs to irrigate, apply fertilizer, and spray insecticide and so on... --by Man-Ting

We saw cistern and water motors in the house of president of the committee today. Water in the cistern can be connected to water motors, and the water motors can keep the soil and water of the tea garden. The water motors can apportion water to each water pipe and water will be sprayed out through water pipes. After the seeing this we went to see how to join and cut those water pipes. I personally that think farmers are backbreakers and earn little money in return. For instance, my father is a farmer, who works all day long, but gain little. And the water towers of our house need two to three hundred millions dolor to build it. We have to realize how thorny it isfor a farmer to earn money. --by Chih-Hung

Interviewing Parents

1. The livelihood water is still the main using of water source for community residents. The second usage is the irrigation of tea garden for the economics lifeline. Parts of the parents notice the ecological maintenance issues of the water source, and they wish they can transform it into the helper of the developing of the community touring.
2. The water shortage is different, according to each place’s water source. Thus, there are both positive and negative opinions about the water shortage in our Rui-feng community. Half of parents consider there is a risk of water shortage, and the others inversely hold the adverse opinions.
3. The dry reason in Rui-feng area is very different according to dissimilar area. Generally speaking, the main dry season is from September to April the next year.
4. Over half of the parents realize the importance to invest a lot of expense on the irrigation of the tea garden.
5. Two-thirds of parents mull over the developing of touring in Rui-feng can help the water source. It can be considered as the community touring industry in the future.
6. Most of the parents still hope the community to have the running water, which can be anticipated as the main supply water; but a few parents hold the objections.

Time: Eight o'clock to nine o'clock at night on December 28
Contents that the materials:
1. The history and the object of setting the convenient water for Rui-feng community.
Ans: Water shortage. In order to solve the local problem, Mr. Chin-Chu Kuan applied the plan to build the convenient water system.
2. How are the whole using area and the application or equipment of the convenient water?
Ans: The area concludes Wai-Liao, Jui-Feng. The 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 adjacencies have convenient water system. Only the 1 and 3 adjacencies don’t have yet.
3. How much is the expense of the convenient water project?
Ans: It’s about 8,300,000 (700,000 is from the committee)
4. How is the expenses which would be used, and the purpose of it in the future?
Ans: The money will be used on electric power (two in Fen-chi Lake and one in Mt. Mei)
5. The possible perplexity and solution that we may encounter?
Ans: It’s pathetic to say that we may have many natural calamities in the future. Thus, there are a lot of difficulties that we may probably encounter, because of the natural effects, and disasters.
