 Walk along Route 18 (Alishan Road), turn right at 36.5km mark (Longmei) and go on for a minute and you will find the tribe-- Sinmei (Niahosa) halfway on the mountain.

Tsou’s warriors with bows

 If you pass through an avenue of 20 km. you will find a Tsou warrior standing at the roadside and hold the bow to welcome you. Sinmei is originally called Niahosa where the Takopueanu tribe was located. It was also the last tribe of Tsou of Alishan. This historic place is really worth exploring.
