2. In what ways did you act as an "ambassadors" and
spokespersons for your Cyberfair project both on-line and in person.
We were involved in the Cyberfair project
together, after deciding on the topic, we started to design our street
surveys, interview, record keeping, data collection, and to participate in
the activities. After starting our research, we prepared a Research
Plan for HKW to introduce them our work and to practice
the skills of interviewing and to learn how to be polite and show a
sincere attitude. By creating a web page, we believe the community members
will know
more about the contribution and service of HKW.
By joining regular and festival events, we
became familiar with HKW. During
this period, we had chances to get in touch with other volunteers and
parents. From an in-depth understanding of
volunteers, we started to learn how to become a volunteer.

3. What has been the impact of your project on your
community?
A. Happy Kids Weekend teaches us the thinking
I didn't listen to before:
We found embedded during each of the Happy Kids Weekend event the truth
of life. Most of this truth we had heard before, but we didn't realize
it at that time and rejected it.
During HKW, drama was used to illustrate life and teach us
the correct way and thinking, impacting the heart.

B. Happy Kids Weekend
abounds with faith, rejoicing, hope, and love:
When we first attended Happy Kids Weekend,
we felt it was a place children could have fun, but after continuous
participation, we found it a place that community kids learned how to
become people with "faith, rejoicing, hope, and love". We also found this kind of character
in the teachers and volunteers. We
believe, through this project, the spirit of HKW could spread and move
in our community, and make the dream
of "Build a Kids Heaven in All Communities" come true.

"Happy Spirit" is
Faith,
Rejoicing,
Hope,
Love
Be strong and victorious in Faith
Be thankful and help in Rejoicing
Be patient and consist in Hope
Be mercy and forgive in Love

C. It changed our image of
becoming a good volunteer:
Before becoming involved, we thought
that to become a good volunteer you had to assist in the activity, but after seeing the preparation work of HKW, we found
out that to become a good volunteer one not only help had to help the
activity, but needed to have love, be patient, and have the heart
towards giving your time.
4. How did your project involve other members of your
community as helpers and volunteers?
We want to give our thanks to the people
at
Taipei East Christian Church, especially the brothers, sisters, parents, volunteers, teachers, and
pastor Wang. They provided us many documents and worked with us
enthusiastically. Because of their help, we were able to complete this
project.
5. Discoveries, Lessons and Surprises (Optional)
During the working of this Cyberfair project, we realized
that we needed to be involved in the activity personally and sincerely, then we
could start observing the service in-depth and get the true sense of loving
kids.

We were so touched, because we could not image there
was a
group of people who would put such efforts into loving kids and youths. Most
of them spent their free time after work to contribute
to preparing activities. We realized, because of their patient
and willingness to give not only the kids but the
whole family in the community benefited.

During Cyberfair project, we
spent
lots of time on solving problems, but we finally realized the meaning of
unity. We experienced happy and sad feelings during the
year, but we gained precious experience.
