Survey Report
|
Date: July 20, 2004
Place: near the
Taipei MRT Yong-Chun
station
The
afternoon, weather was hot and we were ready to do our survey.
We prepared balloons to attract people to our survey.
The balloons were made with picture drawings on them. Then we took
lots of balloons to our survey locations near Kentucky Fried
Chicken. All of us gathered to find people to talk to, but they were hard to find,
so we divided into two-people groups. In the beginning, we were shy
in talking to people, but with
inspiration from our teacher, we tried harder. Jia-Yu stayed
to take care of giving balloons out when people finished the survey.
After two
hours' hard work, we went into Kentucky Fried Chicken again for a break to review our
work and put our work in order before starting up.

We Needed More Surveys |
Learned from Survey
I felt it
was hard to do a street
survey, some people didn't want to be bothered and it was hard to find a child to
survey. Therefore, we had balloons to attract children. In
our second survey, the weather was hot, and the survey was even harder
than our first one. Because in our first one, we knew most of the
kids, but at the department store we knew none, and it was hard to invite them to
talk to us. Since we had previous experience, we were not that nervous and
was able to collected more information.
Let's look at our questions of survey!
