After our visit to the museum, we understood the differences between Nanguanand Beiguan music [different types of Taiwanese traditional music] and gained a better understanding of Beiguan through the guide's introduction. Topic：Our team members went to Dongshan Zunan Temple today, which is a thriving temple in the Dongshan area. The temple is dedicated to the Goddess Mazu. When Mazu goes on a tour, the temple usually invites the members of Dongshan Fongliyuan to perform. We learned a lot about the historical origins of Dongshan Zunan Temple and Dongshan Fongliyuan from the director of the committee, and gained new knowledge from it. We also conducted field research among the public, not only collecting valuable feedback but also promoting Beiguan music to more people.

Topic：Today our interviewing team visited the Glove Puppetry Theater Group at Yuanlin New Paradise Palm Puppetry Theater Troupe to interview the master puppeteer and recipient of the "Sinyi Award," Wu Qingfa. We learned that puppetry can be divided into Nanguan and Beiguan styles, and also the reason whyTaiwan has mainly developed Beiguan puppetry. Through this learning experience, we gained a better understanding of the application of Beiguan music, allowing us to think more broadly.
