The name of Wuli Pavilion, which is located in the middle of the lotus pond, is derived from the idiom "Wu Li Wu", which describes that when the lotus pond is foggy, Wuli Pavilion is covered with a thin layer of fog, just like the meaning of "Wu Li Wu". The two-storey pavilion with flying eaves and yellow tiles is handsome and dignified, bright and eye-catching. When the morning sun first dawns, the pond is filled with smoke, and Wuli Pavilion is like a layer of mist, vaguely resembling a dragon palace, making people feel like they are helping in the illusion of nothingness. When night falls, the long palace lanterns protruding from the embankment emit soft light, making it seem like a fairyland, which makes people feel relaxed and happy and adds a great scenery to the Lotus Pond.
The statue of Avalokiteshvara riding a dragon is located in front of the Lotus Pond's Kai Ming Hall and between the Spring and Autumn Pavilions, with a height of about 3 feet 6 feet and a length of about 25 feet 7 feet, allowing people to walk inside. The wall paintings depict stories related to Avalokiteshvara and the Eighteen Lohans. Next to the dragon are lotus flowers, symbolizing the lotus pond and the image of Avalokiteshvara on the lotus flowers! The dragon flying with its head up is like a flying dragon in the sky, leading Avalokiteshvara to be merciful to all sentient beings and send rain to the people.
The Spring and Autumn Pavilions, located in the southwest of the Lotus Pond, are two Chinese palace-style pavilions, the Spring Pavilion and the Autumn Pavilion. The two pavilions are each four-story and octagonal and are connected by a nine-bend bridge. The green tiles and yellow walls resemble pagodas, and their ancient shadows are reflected in the water. Each of them is connected by a nine-bend bridge, also known as the "Spring and Autumn Pavilion", which is a landmark to commemorate Emperor Guan Sheng. There is a statue of Guanyin riding a dragon in front of the pagoda, and there is a legend that says, "Guanyin Bodhisattva appeared in the clouds on a dragon and instructed the followers to shape the statue according to his appearance between the two pagodas, which is unique.
Built in 1976, the seven-story Dragon and Tiger Pagodas are brightly colored with yellow walls, red pillars and orange tiles. Visitors to the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas must "enter the dragon's throat and exit the tiger's mouth", which means to turn good fortune into good fortune. Upon entering, one can see the walls on both sides painted with "The Twenty-Four Filial Virtues" and "The Ten Temples of Death", which are not only vividly painted, but also have educational and historical significance. At the end, there is a Bodhisattva of the Earth Store for worship and a donation box for people to donate. From the top of the Dragon Pagoda, you can see the Spring and Autumn Pavilion and the God of the North Pole, and get a good view of the Lotus Pond. The walls on both sides are decorated with ceramic statues of the Thirty-six Officials and the Seventy-two Virtuous Men, each of which is vividly carved.

Kameyama
Turtle Mountain, also known as Turtle Peak, is named after a small peak at its northeastern end that is shaped like a turtle. It is located in the Zuoying District of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, west of Lianchi Lake. To the northeast, it faces Half-Ping Mountain across the lake, and to the southwest, it is near the end of Shoushan Mountain (ancient name Snake Mountain). The hiking trail is easy to follow, and you can also see the beautiful scenery of Lianchi Lake right under your feet, making it a great place for parents and children to hike.
Banping Lake Wetland
It is located at the foot of the Half-Ping Mountain, straddling the Nanzhi and Zuoying districts, and is classified as a local wetland. It was originally planned as a special artificial lake wetland park after the termination of the mining rights of Half-Ping Mountain in 1997, using the sand pond of the lime quarry. It is also a special wetland habitat in the park, and together with the nearby Lianchi Lake and Zhouzai Wetland, it provides shelter and food for migratory birds, making it an important point in the wetland ecological corridor of the North Kaohsiung Metropolitan Area. In the future, there will be more birds, aquatic insects and animals to inhabit the park, making the ecosystem of Half-Ping Mountain more diversified and rich. The wetland of Half-Ping Lake is like giving nature a breathing space, and the reappearance of vitality is also the most beautiful transformation of Kaohsiung!
