2. Category: 4. Local Specialties

3. Description of Our Community:
Zhutang Township of Changhua County is formed by the accumulation of Dongluoxi and
Xiluoxi, which are divided by Zhuoshui Creek, and is located in the center of the Fan Plain of
Zhuoshui Creek. The origin of the place name 'Bamboo Pond' was named after the ancestors
of the area developed the early reeds and bamboo swamps and the depressions in the
depression. Another said that the bamboo pond is rich in bamboo and densely populated with
water ponds. Because of its reputation, it has the old name 'bamboo head'. The land in the
village has been accumulating from the Zhuoshui Creek over the years. Due to the fertile soil,
sufficient water sources and mild climate, the place also has a thriving agricultural landscape:
muddy rice, vegetables, grapes, shaky, dragon fruit, peaches, Gao Jie, As long as you are
willing to sweat and work hard, you will find everything here. It seems to be an agricultural
 treasure.

4. Summary of Our Project:
About two-thirds of the land in Zhutang Township is agricultural land, and more than half of
the households are farmers. The south of the township is surrounded by Zhuoshui Creek and
all are flat. Zhuoshui Creek brings brown, black soil with high viscosity from the upstream.
Combined with turbid water irrigation, it is very suitable for planting rice, producing good
quality turbid water rice that won the national championship year after year. We are born and
raised children in the bamboo pond. We hope that through the famous 'bamboo pond rice',
we will not only let ourselves know the products that our hometown and family depend on,
but also let us have more experience of eating rice from the 'mouth' but we have never seen
People who grow rice in the 'mud' have the opportunity to re-experience this wonderful
journey from 'mud to mouth'. Therefore, the introduction of our special research project starts
with everyone who knows our hometown and our special rice (Taijian No. 9 rice) specialties,
and then looks at the diverse presentation and marketing of rice products, and finally let
everyone see us Continue to work for your hometown.
