Guangwu Tunnel

　Guangwu Tunnel is a network of tunnels used for military purposes in the past, mysteriously located behind a temple, Weiling Temple, just beneath Shitousahn Park.  The tunnel connects Shuiwei and Huanggang Fishing Harbo.  The tunnel is 361.5 meters in length.  It was constructed for military purposes during the Japanese colonial period.  In earlier time, it was used mainly for mutrition storage.  The set of tunnels bacame a military control zone after the restoration of Taiwan.  Since it was open to the public, it has turned into a tourist attraction.
