Walking TourKunqiu Trail and Post No. 14 Trail
Kunqiu Trail
Kunqiu Beach was a military trail before, and now it becomes a leisure trail. It is located in southern Xiju, starts at Kunqiu and ends at Xiqiu, and it is 500 meters long. Northeast monsoons cannot blow through, thus there are different kinds of original plants along the trail, Matsu lily, Eurya emarginata, phoebe zhennan, for instance.
The lower part of the trail near Kunqiu beach is made up of wood, and from hillside to Xiqiu is stone trail. There is a pavilion on the trail, and that is a perfect location for enjoying seascape. If you stay in Xiju at night time, you can see the sunset beside Kunqiu beach and Snake Island.
