About Taipei Rabbit Society Association
Taipei Rabbit Society Association (TRSA) started out by facilitating the adoption of the mistreated or abandoned rabbits. Only the responsible adults who know about rabbits are qualified owners of these rabbits. Abandoned guinea pigs are sometime taken for the adoption program too.
Volunteer workers help to clean up the litter boxes, place food, and play with the rabbits. They are not paid but they work hard. Volunteer workers also take care of sick or injured rabbits, to ensure the health of the rabbits in the foster care.

Rabbits’ Home
Rabbits’ Home is comprised of a number of sections for settling-ins, interviewing, education and exercise, in order to provide emergency aids and care to sick, injured and abandoned rabbits. Rabbits’ Home advocates the right philosophy in pet keeping and encourages adoption in lieu of purchase. We are open to visitors as long as there are volunteer workers on duty.
Pet Rabbit Settlement Area: This section has six multi-purpose rabbit hutches (each at 1.08 meters) and JOLLY Super Home Rabbit Cages. In case it is necessary to take in a large number of abandoned rabbits, each rabbit hutch can accommodate up to 50 rabbits with the extension of the division plates folded down. There will be another two multi-purpose rabbit hutches. Specifications for Rabbit Hutches at Rabbits’ Home
Interview Room: This is an interactive point where the adopter, under the permission of the volunteer workers, can get to know the rabbit. The sponsor can only interact with the rabbit they support here. This small and private space ensures the privacy of the meeting process and the safety of the rabbit. This area is only available, without charge, to those who send in or sponsor stray animals.
Exercise Areas: Rabbits’ Home offers five exercise areas. Each area offers ample space for rabbits to run and jump around. This is where rabbits have fun at the facilities carefully arranged by volunteer workers. The first and second exercise areas are in the lobby. The third one is in the interview area (when it is free). The fourth exercise area is dedicated to stay-in rabbits (not open) and the fifth one is on the balcony (not open).
Rabbit Sports Center Rabbit Holiday Inn: As TRSA does not receive large-sum corporate donations or attract any government subsidies, all the funding comes from small and irregular donations. This is why Taipei Rabbit Society Association provides stay-in services to rabbit owners to generate stable revenues and support educational events and rescue activities organized by volunteer workers.
Rabbit Goodie Shop: Taipei Rabbit Society Association sells merchandize and donated second-hand goods here. Some used products Taipei Rabbit Society Association does not find use for are sold here. Rabbit owners can find lots of bargains here. We also invite B2Pet Bakery to offer their freshly baked goodies for pets. The profits are donated to Taipei Rabbit Society Association.
Rabbit Classroom: Taipei Rabbit Society Association is committed to education. This classroom is the training ground for volunteer workers and new pet owners. There are also ad-hoc workshops with speakers including veterinarians, foster carers, Taipei Rabbit Society Association sitters and handicraft masters. This also serves as a venue for gatherings of rabbit lovers and owners.
Rabbit Reading Room: This small reading room, behind the classroom, collates a variety of books on pet keeping and quarterly journals published by animal protection groups. The library is open to everybody but the books cannot be checked out.
