				Development Nowadays Dihua Street had became more and more bustling since Taiwan opened the harbor. With the change of people’s habbits,Dihua Street had different styles and the shops of groceries also had been affected. For the sake of people’s requirements and the operation of shops in Dihua Street,they decided to do something differences. We find some obvious changes from interviews, inclusive of the packing of merchandise,diet styles and the decoration of shops…etc.
				1. Packing of merchandise
				Groceries were sold for middlemen and grocery stores in the past,and they bought quanties of groceries than other people.There are many people in an extended family,so they always bought a lot of groceries,like condiments and dried goods.With the quanties of groceries,the packing of merchandise were big.
					Small packing of nuts are convenient to eat
				With the trend of fewer children,there were less people in a nuclear family than the extended family. For the sake of nuclear families’ requirments, the packing of merchandise is turning into smaller and delicate.
				2.Diet Styles For the young people’s diet habbits,the style of groceries have different changes.Because the young people are busy at work,they need something easy to cook and some shops start to sell frozen food or instant food for convenience,like trepans,squids…etc.

					3. Decoration of shops In the past,the groceries shops are filled with a lot kinds of groceries,cans and the smell of dry food.In order to attract the young people,the groceries shops start to change the decorations of shops.They put groceries neat and tidy in the showcase and match with some lights that look like arts.

				Groceries are the traditional feature in Dihua Street,but the groceries shops make something differences in order to catch up with the changes.They make those shops more fashion and modern.
