Cards giving for Teacher's Day

The missions are much tougher especially for the teachers of Immaculate Heart Center for Mentally Handicapped compared with school teachers in general. They have to pay extra attention to students’ behavior, safety and make sure the students could have some improvements. We are grateful of what the teachers have done. September 27^th, 2013(one day before Teachers’ Days), we have sent out the eggs tarts (made by teacher Huang shuyun and us) and homemade cards to the teachers who have been contributing for people with disability over years. We are also thankful that previously the teachers have arranged a whole day lesson for us with students from Immaculate Heart Center for Mentally Handicapped and enduring our noises at the same time. Therefore, we would like to show our appreciation on the Friday before Teachers’ Day and hoping them to understand our effort.

We have sent the egg tarts and cards to all teachers and sisters from Adults group, Preschools group and School age group. We smiled after capturing their smiley faces. We were so worried they might not be happy with what we have written on the cards which so much time were spent. There were photo-taking and interview session with the teachers after we sent out all the cards. Though some of lessons were affect, we have learnt a lot from this experience. There were some second hand goods collected before our visit to Immaculate Heart Center for Mentally Handicapped, it was for their charity bazaar. Sincerely wish them to have a success Second Hand Shop for charity.

We also met Brother Egg on that day. The dancing with kids made everyone so happy with laughter. It was a fruitful day and wish they could be happy and carefree all the time. The teachers were working so hard. We should be thankful, so we made them cards. Hope they would like them.
