It still needs to be discussed in order to make residents’ thoughts to match professional thoughts. Ⅱ.Local special industry needs to be guided professionally and to be improved from the inner side According to the public sector cannot easily restrain self property, the place can only be improved by outer environment. But those important spots should be preserved by self-constructed and be influenced by outer environment. Therefore, if stores can be instructed by professional sectors to make progress, stores can produce special and creative buildings with its own style. This can help boost local culture. Xiao Xi Street has its specialty such as doctor lane. Residents protect this lane with care and inner cultivation. They use pot plants to create a harmonious space. If other lanes can be developed like doctor lane and the public sector change the environment in reality, Xiao Xi Street can create an antique and harmonious atmosphere. |

Ⅲ.Strengthening the connection with outdoor space and transforming the design of space quality
The transformation of the inside of the building and the outer appearance needs to be depended on the taste of residents and the ability of self-transformation. But the outdoor space needs to be depended on the cooperation between the public sector and residents. There are two parts of the outdoor space of Xiao Xi special blocks. One is latter Xiao Xi Ln. Mainly space is for tailor’s shops. Roof covers are in front of those shops. It seems like the sky is covered by those roof covers. Therefore, it can be developed into an antique space for business. The other is at Chang An St. 76, 96, and 106. The space is relatively winding and interesting. There are several hotels and old houses near here. This space is suitable for being a place for tourists to recall the past history. Also, it can be decorated with pot plants. A walking path can be designed with the cooperation of each hotel and old houses. And a travel system can be linked with the food between Xiao Xi Ln. and Chen Ling Rd.
Ⅳ.Improving the cleanness of the environment and the problem of parking cars
Tourists come here for delicious food in Xiao Xi blocks, Chen Ling Rd., and Chang An Ln. A lot of garbage is produced due to this situation. Businessmen want to maintain the cleanness of their shops. They put garbage outside of their shops. This causes the problem of multiplying mosquitoes and influences the environment. Therefore, trash cans are needed to be put on the street in order to maintain the cleanness. Also, garbage should be taken away regularly. Businessmen should take the responsibility of protecting the environment at the same time in order to give back a clean and comfortable space for everyone.
After we paid a visit to Xiao Xi Street, many tourists coming from other places drove in lanes in order to find places for parking. But lanes were too narrow for so many people and cars. Although there was a Wanfang parking lot, it was still not enough for so many cars. A parking tower should be built near Xiao Xi Street in order to fix the problem.
Ⅴ.Community renaissance and sustainable management
We found that there was quite a lot of special stuff on Xiao Xi special street such as gully covers, lamp holders, and life theaters. Those are very great ideas. However, if we did not listen to what the commentator introduced to us, we would not understand its origin. Therefore, instructions or virtual tour should be provided for tourists in order to make tourists understand these special tourist spots more easily. The public sector should not only spend money but also need to consider how to manage these facilities. If it could not last long, it would be such a pity. Therefore, we think that activities should be assisted by cultural councils continuously.
Ⅵ.Training volunteers in multiple dimensions
There is already a Xiao Xi cultural council. Actually, we gather community development association or other groups. And we train volunteers in multiple dimensions or partners who are willing to join cultural activities. Also, we work together and we introduce this place to tourists on holiday. On week days, tourists can also order group guided tour in order to understand more about the culture of Xiao Xi Street.
